Bury Them? October 15, 2026 admin Leave a comment It’s a football-filled Boomtown Grill Thursday edition of The SOS as we break down tonight’s big high school matchups and the race for playoff spots across western Oklahoma. We take a closer look at District 4A-1, including Weatherford-Bethany, Clinton-Cache and Elk City’s remaining path to the postseason, plus the Class A-1 playoff picture with Merritt hosting Crescent and Sayre taking on Hinton. We also preview the volleyball state tournament, discuss Weatherford’s controversial seeding and update the rain-delayed fast pitch softball state schedule. Plus, we dive into Mel Kiper’s latest NFL Draft rankings, including Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestermaker’s incredible rise to the number two prospect and questions surrounding Arch Manning and Texas. And we wrap up with the Major League Baseball playoffs as Milwaukee takes a commanding 3-0 lead over the Dodgers, leaving us wondering whether it’s finally time to bury Los Angeles.
