The Erick Lady Bearcats will live to fight another day. Coach Janz’s squad destroyed Maud this afternoon 60-32 to stay alive in the Class B Regional Tournament. They await the loser of tonight’s winner’s bracket matchup between between Duke and Maysville. The Bearcats advanced as well. Erick knocked off Verden 47-33. They’ll play the loser of tonight’s winner’s bracket game between Duke and Maysville also. Erick’s girls tip at 1:30 with the Bearcats to follow at 3:00.

The action continues tonight on paragontv. In Class A Regional winner’s bracket action, Canute’s Trojanettes face #11 Navajo at BFDC. The Trojanettes come into the game with a 16-8 record, winners of 7 straight. Navajo’s 21-3 and have won 11 of their last 12. The Trojans will follow against Carnegie. Canute’s 17-7 while Carnegie comes into the game 13-9. We talked to Canute Head Coach Brock Steffes about the challenges Carnegie presents….. You can watch both Canute games tonight on paragontv. Pregame will get going at 6:15 with the Trojanettes tipping off at 6:30 followed by the Trojans at 8.

Class A and B Area 1 and Area 2 Regional games were postponed to tomorrow. Those tournaments will now be played Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Teams in the area that are affected include Arapaho-Butler, Cheyenne-Reydon, Thomas, Mooreland, Seiling, Vici, Shattuck, FGFS in Class A. . Hammon, Leedey, Corn Bible Academy, MVG, Arnett, Sweetwater, in Class B. The games times will be the same as they were previously scheduled.
